Obama Gets Israeli History Lesson
In a recent join press conference with President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Obama continued to push for his idea of peace, and referred back to his Middle-East Policy speech where he made the claim that the US favors the Israeli return to 1967 borders.
What Obama could not have expected was a response from Netanyahu that was so complete, so strong and so statesman-like that the entire world would stand up and take notice. Netanyahu demonstrated, calmly and with total clarity, that the return to the “indefensible” borders of 1967 would never happen; that the Jewish State would be independent of land for a “Palestinian State.” Further, he made clear to the world that Hamas was the “Palestinian version of Al-Queda.”
